The Jingyuetan Water Release Tower is located on the west side of the reservoir dam, and is the former site of Jingyuetan Water Source, a municipal cultural heritage unit. It is also a landmark for the filming of "The World". Construction began in 1934 and was completed in 1935. It was a hydraulic building built during the period of Manchukuo to supply water to the urban area of Changchun.

　　Yishuiwan is the overflow channel of Jingyuetan Reservoir, which leads to the mother river of Changchun City - Yitong River. During the summer flood season, the rising pool water will flow into the overflow channel through the current Huantan Road, and finally merge into Yitong River.

　　Changchun Forest Botanical Garden, which is subordinate to Changchun Forestry Research Institute, is a popular science botanical garden focusing on collecting, cultivating and studying plants in the Changbai Mountains.

　　The wetland park covers an area of 1 square kilometer and is surrounded by plants such as birch, spruce, reed, calamus, and lotus. The excellent ecological environment and rich vegetation have attracted many water birds to inhabit here, including the national second-class protected birds such as the grey crane, phoenix headed heron, egret, and red mallard. The wetland park is shimmering with water, birds chirping and flowers blooming. Tourists can also take bamboo rafts to explore the wetland scenery up close, walking among lotus flowers and reeds, experiencing the beautiful feeling of "rowing on the blue waves, people swimming in the painting". Many bird watching enthusiasts and photography enthusiasts who come to Jingyue Lake like to stop and linger here.

　　　　Wangtan Bridge, with its winding structure, is an ideal place to enjoy the scenery of Jingyue Lake with distant mountains and close water. Changchun Jingyue Lake and Taiwan Sun Moon Lake are sister lakes to each other. In August 2007, the "Jingyue Lake · Sun Moon Lake" pool water integration ceremony was held at Wangtan Square. Taiwanese high school students, with the blessings of their compatriots, injected the Sun Moon Lake water into Jingyue Lake and brought it back to Taiwan to integrate into the Sun Moon Lake. The two bays and pools of water have promoted friendly exchanges between the people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, connecting the inseparable friendship between the two sides. It can be said that "two dreams come true in two places, and a bottle of water has a heart full of meaning". Nowadays, there is a cruise ship called "Sun Moon Lake" in Jingyue Lake, and there is also a cruise ship called "Jingyue Lake" in the same area.

　　The scenery of Jingyue Lake is beautiful, so it has also become a filming location for many film and television works. In the previous stage, the popular CCTV drama "In the Human World" was filmed in multiple locations in Jingyue Lake. One scene was where the male protagonist Zhou Bingkun and Secretary Qu, played by Kelly, were talking by the embankment. The Jingyue Lake Reservoir Dam is the scene that appeared in the drama, and it is also a popular check-in spot in our Jingyue Lake scenic area.
