​  The Bisong Jingyue Tower and Taiping Bell Tower are located on Guantan Mountain. The Bisong Jingyue Tower was completed in 2000 with a height of 50.2 meters. The number 50 represents the 50th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and the number 2 represents the 200th anniversary of Changchun's establishment. The Taiping Bell Tower was built in July 1991 to commemorate Jilin Province's ten-year absence of major forest fires from 1981 to 1990. Climbing up the 195 steps that symbolize "to", "permanently", and "to benefit", one can overlook the clear waters and vast forests of Guantan Mountain.
