On May 16th, Jingyuetan Scenic Area ushered in a health event. The large-scale free clinic activity, "Traditional Chinese Medicine into Scenic Areas," jointly organized by the scenic area and the Third Affiliated Clinical Hospital of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine, was successfully held at the tourist center. Themed "Traditional Chinese Medicine Enriches Spring City, Medical Care and Jingyuetan Tour," the event deeply integrated traditional Chinese medicine culture with Jingyuetan's ecological cultural tourism, offering a "doorstep" feast of traditional Chinese medicine health for the general public and tourists.
The atmosphere at the event was lively and orderly. The event featured three major functional areas: an expert consultation area, a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) suitable technology experience area, and a TCM culture popularization area. Six renowned experts from departments such as internal medicine, rehabilitation, geriatrics, and preventive medicine provided on-site consultations, offering free professional services to citizens and tourists, including pulse and tongue diagnosis, constitution identification, chronic disease management, and medication guidance.
It's worth mentioning that visitors can also experience auricular point pressing with beans and taste plum juice for free on site, feeling the unique charm of traditional Chinese medicine in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. "It's so convenient to have an expert feel my pulse while visiting Jingyuetan, instead of having to queue up at the hospital," said a happy citizen who came to the scenic area for sightseeing.
The Jingyuetan Scenic Area has been continuously exploring new paths for the integrated development of "tourism + health care". This free clinic activity not only enhanced the tourists' understanding of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) health concepts but also injected new vitality into the scenic area with the combination of "cultural tourism + TCM". In the future, Jingyuetan will continue to collaborate with high-quality medical institutions to create more themed activities centered around cultural promotion and health education, allowing the general public and tourists to reap the dual nourishment of body and mind amidst the vast green waves and forests.
