On the morning of December 25th, the Changchun Jingyuetan Ski Resort was blanketed in snow and filled with cheers as the grand opening ceremony of the "Million Workers Unite to Build Dreams at the Winter Universiade" event organized by the Jilin Provincial Federation of Trade Unions took place. At 9:30, the lively and spirited opening dance "Come to Jilin in Winter to Play with Snow" gracefully took the stage, instantly igniting the atmosphere. 20 employee dancers from various industries across the province, stepping to the lively beat, showcased a dynamic dance style that complemented the flying snowflakes, embodying a high-spirited and energetic spirit. The theme flash video "Enthusiasm for Ice and Snow · Uniting for the Winter Universiade" was played brilliantly, flashing scenes of ice and snow training, fun experiences, and competitive events organized by labor unions in various cities and prefectures across the province.

On the snowy slopes, four captivating ice and snow performances drew the audience's attention: a 30-person flag guard formation slowly descended from the top of the slope, with the bright red national flag standing out against the snowy backdrop; a skiing group consisting of 30 employees from the FAW Group took the stage, displaying their heroic and capable demeanor as industrial workers as they stretched their bodies on the slope, showcasing the unique style of frontline employees; 20 professional skiers transformed into "snow elves", performing aerial twists, snow drifts, and other tricks in a seamless manner, eliciting cheers from the audience; two renowned ice and snow sports athletes from our province, holding the flag of the Ice and Snow Sports Professional Committee of Jilin Province Workers' Culture and Sports Association and the flag of the volunteer service team for the Vasa International Ski Festival and the 33rd Winter Universiade, raced down the slope, handing over the flags to relevant representatives with stability, conveying the spirit of ice and snow sports and the mission of volunteer service, injecting deep connotation into the event.

As the attending leaders, model workers, and ice and snow athletes jointly activated the device, snowballs of various shapes were thrown onto the starting platform, and the ice and snow special effects burst into a brilliant display, marking the official commencement of the event.

After the launching ceremony, 1,500 employees embarked on a hiking journey through the "forest snow country", experiencing the beauty of nature amidst the snow-covered landscape. Renowned ice and snow sports athletes delivered the first lesson of ski training for Jilin Province's employees on the spot, imparting skills step by step, leaving the employees exclaiming "this quenches our thirst". Fun ice and snow sports competitions for employees, such as snow tug-of-war and snow frisbee, were held enthusiastically in the Jingyuetan Scenic Area.

The highly anticipated 24th Vasa International Ski Festival Changchun Jingyuetan, China in 2026 is about to grandly open, presenting a grand ice and snow event that integrates ice and snow sports with cultural experiences for the vast number of visitors.

Over a thousand employees, including members of the Party leadership group and second-level inspectors of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, chairpersons of the federations of trade unions in cities and prefectures, chairpersons of trade unions in enterprises and universities in the province, responsible comrades from relevant departments of various departments and bureaus in the province, as well as cadres from the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, Changchun Federation of Trade Unions, and the federation of trade unions in provincial-level institutions, and frontline worker representatives from various industries, participated in the event.
